Key Responsibilities as a Cleaner:
Assist with the daily cleaning of the cafe area (mopping, wiping tables and kitchen equipment)
Maintain cleanliness of cafe bathrooms
Wash used crockery and kitchen equipment to ensure high and proper standards of cleanliness
Clean equipment, cutlery, organise and sort kitchen crockery
Must Be Willing and Able To:
1. Willingness to work various hours, days and shifts, including weekends.
2. Working in confined spaces with varying noise and temperature levels.
3. Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
4. Follow all rules, policies, procedures and terms of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
5. Foster an atmosphere of teamwork by supporting co-workers.
6. Be polite, friendly and pleasant.
7. Standing and walking throughout the entire shift.
8. Navigate safely in all areas within the café.
9. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, lifting, carrying, pouring and wiping.
Qualifications:
Be reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork
Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in the catering industry
