OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
We are seeking candidates who fulfill the subsequent criteria:
Languages Required:
English (Fluent)
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
Experience is advantageous, however, enthusiastic early-career engineers are encouraged to apply.
Eligible or registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Civil Engineer, your duties will encompass:
Creating and strategizing designs for bridges, dams, highways, and various civil structures.
Conducting site visits and examining survey, geotechnical, and hydrological information.
Drafting technical reports and necessary documentation.
Ensuring adherence to engineering codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
Formulating construction specifications and overseeing construction timelines.
Assessing tenders and scrutinizing contract documents.
Working in conjunction with project managers, architects, and field personnel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position necessitates:
Work to be performed entirely on-site
Responsibilities in both office and field settings at different project sites
Rapidly evolving project schedules with periodic stringent deadlines
A keen focus on detail, thorough documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera.
Expertise in civil design and structural analysis.
Capability to effectively manage multiple priorities and project tasks.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a focus on solutions.
Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.
Familiarity with transportation, hydroelectric, and structural engineering practices.
