Job Description:-
The In-Room Dining Order Taker plays a vital role within the Food & Beverage team, committed to delivering outstanding quality and service to our discerning guests.
Answer the phone with polite and efficient telephone etiquette while gathering all necessary information to process the guest’s order in accordance with Four Seasons Standards.
Provide guests with detailed descriptions of food & beverage menu items, highlighting their origins, flavors, and preparation methods in an engaging manner.
Carefully promote the food and beverage menu items through effective upselling techniques.
Relay guest orders, including any special requests or needs, to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; verify completed kitchen orders against the guest’s original order.
Ensure timely delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers to maintain food quality; accurately finalize guest checks; document guest charges and gratuities.
Consistently monitor food quality and the in-room dining experience after a designated period, offering clearance to guests.
Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, provide recommendations, and respond promptly and appropriately to any guest concerns or requests.
Oversee the delivery of amenities by ensuring that all requests are received, fulfilled, ordered from the kitchen, and delivered promptly and accurately.
Regularly acknowledge in-house and returning guests along with their preferences, while also communicating effectively with the team.
Diligently track online orders or delivery requests made by guests.
Ensure that any special occasions for in-house guests are acknowledged appropriately, with amenities arranged accordingly.
Lead the briefing in the absence of supervisors and managers.
Be prepared to address guest concerns and inquiries, making informed decisions as necessary.
