JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Construction Worker, your duties will encompass:
Loading and unloading materials while preparing job sites
Interpreting blueprints and comprehending fundamental site layouts
Pouring, mixing, and distributing concrete or asphalt
Constructing scaffolding, ramps, and barriers
Cleaning and upkeeping tools, equipment, and work areas
Conducting inspections and performing basic maintenance tasks
Supporting skilled tradespeople and apprentices
Dismantling structures and clearing debris
Safely directing traffic around active job sites
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
We are seeking candidates who:
Possess a secondary school diploma (preferred but not mandatory)
Are eager to learn and adhere to instructions
Are physically fit and able to lift weights of up to 50 lbs.
Can operate in noisy, dusty, and outdoor settings
Are at ease with using tools and adhering to safety protocols
Can successfully pass a basic criminal background check
Possess or are willing to acquire WHMIS certification
