Responsibilities
Conduct safety inspections on trucks and equipment.
Report to dispatch regarding delivery and pick-up assignments.
Deliver equipment to customer locations with courtesy.
Ensure the safe and timely delivery and collection of equipment.
Verify fuel, fluid levels, and operational status of equipment prior to loading.
Complete and sign rental contracts, pick-up tickets, and damage reports clearly and thoroughly by the appropriate personnel.
Exhibit the safe and proper use of equipment during delivery.
Inform the shop lead, service manager, and sales coordinator about any damaged equipment.
Reach out to the sales coordinator following each delivery.
Maintain service vehicles and shop equipment to ensure a clean and professional appearance, with servicing conducted every 90 days or sooner if required.
Record fuel consumption on the mileage report and fuel log.
Store equipment and vehicles appropriately when not in use to avoid property damage.
Complete all special assignments or projects from the store manager promptly.

Qualifications
A high school education supplemented by some technical training is generally necessary for this position. Candidates must possess a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and have a minimum of two years of experience operating a tractor-trailer vehicle. Familiarity with the delivery regions is advantageous, along with the capability to read and comprehend maps of the city and its neighboring areas. Strong communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and listening abilities, are essential. Knowledge of the products is preferred, as well as outstanding customer service skills.
