Job Summary
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your duties will include ensuring the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and communal spaces. Under the guidance of Housekeeping Supervisors, you will follow hotel policies and standards to guarantee that each guest enjoys a pristine and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities
Gather keys and daily tasks; prepare trolleys and equipment to execute assignments effectively without delays
Clean and uphold guest rooms, restocking supplies according to the hotel’s Standards of Performance
Meticulously clean bathrooms and restock toiletries, adhering to safety and performance guidelines
Organize and arrange guest belongings during cleaning to ensure respect and care
Collaborate with Valet Service for guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing requests to improve guest satisfaction
Clean guest corridors, service pantries, and other service areas, ensuring a professional and orderly appearance
Promptly report any maintenance or repair requirements to the Engineering Department
Anticipate and address guest needs with courtesy and professionalism in all designated areas
Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations as specified by the hotel
Requirements
Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning positions is desirable, though not essential.
Capability to adhere to instructions and operate effectively as a member of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Physical endurance to carry out cleaning tasks, which may involve lifting and prolonged standing.
Effective communication skills and a polite demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
