Job Description

As a Licensed Insurance Advisor, your primary responsibilities include the sale of Health & Dental, Travel, and Life Insurance products. You will manage inbound sales inquiries, initiate outbound sales calls, and engage in online communications with clients who have shown interest in our offerings, all while maintaining a professional and effective approach. We have a pool of customers eager to connect with you, as we provide the leads.

What will you be doing?

Managing incoming sales inquiries from prospective clients interested in Health & Dental, Travel, and Life Insurance.
Conducting outbound sales calls to individuals who have expressed interest in exploring our offerings.
Delivering expert advice, identifying client requirements, and proposing tailored solutions to address those needs.
Establishing strong relationships with clients by providing professional and personalized service to enhance your sales pipeline.
Achieving sales targets and adhering to quality and compliance standards on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Diligently documenting needs assessments and other client information using an online platform.
Assisting with various marketing and sponsorship initiatives.
Providing support to clients through online chat and other digital communication channels.

Acting as the representative of the customer by communicating their feedback to the broader team, and bringing forth any recommendations, issues, or insights on potential improvements.

You show that you can use a consultative sales approach to persuade and negotiate over the phone or via online chat.
You pay close attention to details when obtaining client data, carrying out a comprehensive needs analysis, providing tailored solutions, spotting business opportunities, and completing the transaction.
You have demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to interact with a diverse range of clients to guarantee that a successful resolution is achieved.
The following would be assets for you to have:

Experience in telephone sales
Fluent in both French and English: To assist clients from different jurisdictions outside of Quebec, the chosen candidate might need to speak both French and English.

Experience with life insurance and accident and sickness insurance
Despite having a post-secondary degree, comparable business experience is highly valued.
Knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM program
Flexibility: Monday through Friday, we are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST, and on Saturdays, we are open from 10 am to 5 pm EST.

For driven salespeople who currently possess or are willing to acquire their LLQP, this is a rare opportunity. Manulife will pay for the exam and licensing fees, as well as the cost of an approved educational provider for the Harmonized LLQP course.
