Job’s Description:

In the context of a permanent contract, you will assume the role of Claims Advisor within the Claims team associated with the Affinity and Special Risks Department.

You will be responsible for managing a multi-risk portfolio that encompasses “Cancellation, Rescue Expenses, Personal Accident.”

Managing calls: reporting claims, overseeing files, and responding to inquiries regarding contracts and claims management;

Verification of the contract’s validity and the alignment of the risk: ensuring the declared risk matches its actual characteristics;

Supervision of file progress and their appropriate upkeep (renaming documents, classifying components, and noting pertinent comments…);

Assessment of the compensation amount in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the contract;

Discussions and clarifications regarding the methodology for determining compensation and/or benefits provided to beneficiaries;

Identification of possible fraud.

Key responsibilities

Process claims: Examine insurance claims to ascertain coverage and validity in accordance with the policy.
Communicate with clients: Engage with policyholders and claimants to collect comprehensive information and address inquiries regarding their claims.
Investigate and verify: Collaborate with adjusters, investigators, and other professionals to confirm claim details.
Evaluate and assess: Evaluate the extent and value of damages that are covered by the insurance policy.
Negotiate settlements: Facilitate negotiations for settlements with claimants in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
Manage documentation: Maintain thorough records of claims and provide reports to management.
Stay informed: Keep abreast of updates in laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to insurance claims.

Profile:

You possess extensive experience in customer service or support.

You have received training, possess knowledge, or have experience in the field of insurance.

You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a solid commitment to customer service;

You are skilled in using computer tools.
