We are looking for a Risk & Insurance Intern to join our Risk & Insurance department responsible for the management, execution and administration of end-to-end risk and insurance related operations within Sony Europe’s regional and corporate groups.
Amidst diversifying and constantly evolving business trends, attention to risk management has become central to the company’s operations. Sony focuses on its products (hence supply chain, liability, brand presence, etc.), its business (business interruption, assets, cyber, specialist contract business plans, etc.), and above all its people (accidents and injuries, business trips, etc.).
will delve into the challenging world of supply chain risk, security and insurance management, identifying and minimizing risks, taking preventative measures, handling and managing insurance and claims processes, and processing and managing data for transparency and reporting support of proper management.

The following topics will be addressed:
Data Management: Detailed analysis, tracking, and practical reorganization of departmental archive structures to simplify data reference and analysis for faster and more efficient management decision making.
Process Definition: Evaluate, review, and restructure documented processes and procedures with a common logic for clear reference and ease of understanding to facilitate eventual staff changeover and training.
Audit Report Review: Review loss prevention/mitigation activity reports for risk engineering and security projects and audits to verify consistency and understanding.
RMIS Usage Process: Become familiar with the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) tool, verify the ease of use and understandability of the system logic, and create documented process definitions.
You will have:
Academic background in Risk and Insurance continuing from University studies
Excellent English language skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Excellent communication and interpersonal building skills
Analytical skills
Self-motivated and proactive mind.

6 month internship (possibility of extension for another 6 months)
Approximate start date: mid-September
